Founded by Sarah, Cotswold Collective was created to strengthen connections between local people and independent businesses across the Cotswolds. It operates as a rewards card, supported by an app featuring over 400 local brands, all offering exclusive perks, rewards and occasional freebies to members. The aim is simple: to encourage people to shop locally and recognise the wider value of doing so.
As a Burford-based lettings agency operating within the Cotswolds AONB, this approach closely reflects how we work. We live locally, our team is local, and more than 60% of our expenditure goes to independent businesses in the area. Supporting the local economy isn’t an add-on for us — it’s part of running a responsible business in a place we care about.
Our recent B Corporation® certification has formally embedded our commitment to people, community and place into our governance and decision-making. Becoming a corporate member of Cotswold Collective is a practical expression of those values, helping turn intention into action through collaboration rather than competition.
Sarah created Cotswold Collective to reintroduce a sense of community that can be lost in a fast-moving, digital world, and to highlight the social and economic benefits of supporting the ‘village’ around us. By working together, we hope to contribute to a more connected local economy and provide meaningful benefits for members.
