Across two floors, you will find 3-bedrooms, two bathrooms, two reception rooms, a cellar, and a kitchen/breakfast room. Westmacott House also has a lovely back garden and patio, as well as on street parking.
As you enter the property, you will be greeted into the sitting room, which is a warm and welcoming spare where you can curl up on the sofa in front of the fireplace. With windows that absorb the sunlight and fill the room alongside the wooden beams, you have a gorgeous bright, airy and charming space.
Further down the corridor, you will find a downstairs toilet and cupboard with practical storage and tumble dryer. Adjacent to this, you will be met with the kitchen, which is a warm countryside styled space with an electric range and kitchen island, where you can enjoy breakfast. With white walls, cream cabinets and duck egg blue tiles the kitchen is a very calming and happy space & certainly where someone who enjoys to cook or bake will find themselves!
The kitchen leads onto a cosy dining room, characterised by the open fireplace and wooden beams. This space is ideal for dinner parties, evening entertainment and family board games.
Up the stairs, there are 3 double bedrooms all of which are of good size and make for a restful stay with comfortable beds, wardrobe space and a vanity. The luxury of Westmacott House is the tranquility that the surrounding area provides, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.
The front garden is a lovely, gentle space made up of a gravel path, grass lawn and flower beds which is a real suntrap in the Summer! You can enjoy a glass of wine or a hot chocolate, as it is beautiful in all seasons. Also, just steps away from the cottage is a children playground, tennis court and golf course.
At the town's centre is the ancient Market Place with some wonderful half-timbered buildings and houses dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Here you'll find all the necessities of village life including a butcher and baker. The small town has a friendly, unhurried atmosphere with two pubs, including The Wheatsheaf with 14 rooms, plus a wine bar and cafe. The medieval wool trade brought great wealth to the Cotswolds and Northleach boasts one of the Cotswolds' most impressive 'wool' churches: the church of St Peter and St Paul is considered the 'Cathedral of the Cotswolds'.
