A great commuter-friendly location
One thing that helps the Cotswold property market remain buoyant is just how easy it is to commute to the surround towns and cities. A few of our favourite commutable spots are towards the South, just above the M4. Here you will find Wootton-Under-Edge, Malmesbury and Badminton.
For tenants who commute via train, the areas of Cirencester, Fairford and Cricklade are close to Kemble station, where trains run into London Paddington in 1 hour 14 minutes. Plus Kingham and Charlbury stations also serve Paddington.
The larger station of Oxford Parkway has trains running into London Marylebone throughout the week and weekends. Another great commuter train route is Banbury station in the North, less than an hour into Marylebone. Here the towns and villages of Chipping Norton, Deddington and Shipston-on-Stour prove popular with tenants.

As well as being great for commuters, the proximity of the many Cotswold villages to larger towns and fabulous cities, coupled with the tranquil setting in spectacular countryside, makes it a great draw for both young couples and families. There is so much variety across the whole area – from properties in the centre of a village to those situated on the edge of a town and rural country homes set in large grounds. It is easy to see why the Cotswold property market is a great place to invest.
