The Lamb free house is an 18th Century country pub and restaurant just outside the West Oxfordshire market town of Witney. Outside is a beautiful suntrap of a beer garden with pizza ovens, BBQ and an outdoor bar which can accommodate many people and has multiple uses.

Get Outdoors & Visit the beautiful Lavender Fields!

With the lavender being at the peak of flowering in July, what better time to visit the beautiful fields set in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold Hills overlooking Broadway and the Vale of Evesham.

Open daily from June through to August you can bring a picnic (Hot & cold drinks, snacks and icecream also available), sit amongst the lavender or stunning display of wild flowers whilst the kids enjoy a bug hunt (free worksheet provided with bug hunt, quiz, colouring page and badge). Also perfect for a treat during a romantic getaway, you can walk along the 70 miles of lavender rows enjoying the many butterflies and looking over the surrounding Cotswold countryside before enjoying a cream tea or a light lunch in an old Cotswold stone barn.
