Hook Norton Brewery and Malthouse Kitchen are worth a visit for the fabulous brewery tour, a browse in the brewery museum and shop, before enjoying breakfast or lunch in the Malthouse Kitchen.

Membership of Soho Farmhouse is a must visit for a choice of places to eat and drink. The central hub at The Main Barn serves food throughout the day, the mezzanine at Comfy Farm is the place for informal lunch or dinner and not forgetting Pen Yen serving Japanese izakaya-style dishes. Super relaxed is Blakes Kitchen Bakery where you can pick up baked goods and The Little Bell, loved by locals, serves nose-to-tail cooking and natural wine.

Local Shops

Chipping Norton takes pride in its independent shops, adding character and uniqueness to the town’s vibrant streets. The High Street is dotted with charming boutiques, antique stores, and specialty shops.

Jaffe & Neale bookshop and Station Mill Antiques

 

Jaffe and Neale Bookshop and Café offer a delightful combination of literary exploration and delicious refreshments. 

Made famous by owner Jeremy Clarkson, Diddly Squat Farmshop is open March through to December and a great place to purchase local produce and the odd little gift.

Station Mill Antiques Centre is home to over 80 thoughtfully curated antiques dealers and arranged over two floors. A fantastic place to find pre-loved homewares and antiques.

The Yellow Hat Tribe art gallery is a wonderful place to purchase work from artist Irene Tyack. The shop is also a studio so quite often you will see Irene at work creating new pieces. 

Things to do in and near Chipping Norton
