Haremore Farm is a beautiful honey-coloured stone L-shaped farm house, embedded in the Cotswold countryside with peaceful surroundings but by no means secluded with the lovely town Faringdon just a 5-minute drive down the lane. Haremore is a hidden gem nestled away in what once was a farm, now a sweet nook comprised of a few characterful homes. A light and airy feel radiates throughout the entire property with spacious rooms, high ceilings and large windows alongside that cosy feel created by the generous furnishing and stylish interior design.
Haremore Farm is located down a country lane, just 5-minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Faringdon. At Haremore, you're spoilt for choice with the peace and quiet of the Cotswold countryside at your back door as well as the liveliness and local amenities that the neighboring towns have to offer, you have the best of both worlds.
Faringdon is a beautiful old market town, on the edge of the Cotswolds midway between Oxford and Swindon. It is known for its 100 ft Folly Tower that sits close to the town centre and offers fine views across 5 counties. Faringdon has some great attractions such as the Ridgeway, White Horse Hill, Buscot Park and boat trips, as well as being just 20-minutes from Oxford. As such, at Haremore you can become one of the locals and benefit from the great commute that the location has to offer.
You will find Haremore Farm at the bottom of a long driveway, secured behind a set of wooden gates and neighbor to two other characterful farm conversions. There is parking for 3 cars, as well as an EV charging point which could be made available for an additional cost. Just past the parking area, there is a small front garden made from a sea of stones, plants and flowers that lead up to the front door.
At Haremore, you're greeted by a spacious hallway with gorgeous stone tiles and a magnificent staircase and oval window straight ahead. There is a utility room just off the hallway, which is equipped with white goods such as a fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. The utility room also has opportunity for storage and a place to set aside your coats and boots after an adventure in the garden.
To the right of the utility room and leading on from the hallway, you will find a comfortable lounge with views out onto the garden. The lounge is ideal for quiet reading, catching up with friends and family and enjoying a bit of downtime. The kitchen is a gorgeous open space with a table in the middle perfect for cooking, alongside a great range of appliances including an AGA, bread maker and slow cooker.
Adjacent to the kitchen, is the dining room and at its centre as a grand intricately carved wooden table. The dining room is surrounded by windows and oak pillars that emit beams of sunlight. This room is perfect for hosting dinner parties or enjoying a sunday roast with your family.
Also adjacent to the kitchen at the opposite end to the dining room is a second lounge. This lounge has doors that open out onto the patio and garden, perfect for the warmer days in summer. It is furnished with a large and comfy sofa, a smart TV, wood burner and shelves packed with board games, books and DVDs.
Upstairs, you will find 5 generously sized bedrooms all with their own individual palette, but equipped with comfortable beds, wardrobe storage and glorious views.
