Longborough House is nestled on the hillside above the beautiful Evenlode valley, just North of Stow-on-the-Wold. This traditional Cotswold village is peaceful and largely undiscovered with some hidden local gems! The village has a community owned village shop and cafe, which serves delicious coffee and cake, as well as being home to the opera house which comes alive during the summer months when Longborough Festival Opera performs.
Longborough House is very spacious, with generously sized bedrooms and reception areas, ideal for dining and entertainment. This home has been stylishly designed with modern appliances and contemporary interior, and topped off by vast views of the valley.
On the ground floor of the house, you'll be greeted with a large main hallway which provides access to both living spaces, the conservatory and the central staircase. There is a single back door located at the end of the hall, next to the kitchen. Modern radiators have been installed through-out, which are individually controlled so each space can be adjusted to the temperature you desire. There is also a separate kitchen and utility room, equipped with all the things you would expect to make your stay comfortable.
Following on from the kitchen, there is a snug that is warm and cosy with a traditional log burner and smart TV. The sitting room also has large comfortable sofas and a smart TV. The family bathroom, located just off the second living space has a beautiful free standing roll top bath providing a glamorous feel.
The conservatory, located across the whole front of the house, provides an ample dining table for up to 8 guests and a lovely space to enjoy the morning or evening sun. The patio doors can be opened, leading out onto the well-lit terrace that surrounds the conservatory, with tables, chairs, parasol and a charcoal BBQ in the summer months.
On the first floor, you'll find that all bedrooms have beautiful views across the Cotswolds as well as comfortable beds for an undisturbed nights sleep! All 4 bedrooms are identical, with a super king sized bed, ensuite bathroom with corner shower, heated towel rail and WC.
Ample off-road parking is also provided at the front and back of the house, with sufficient space for approximately 6 cars (4 to the front and 2 to the rear).
