The Annual Christmas Concert in The Great Hall at Berkeley Castle is always a wonderful way to soak up the festivities
This popular event brings its seasonal magic to delighted audiences from all over the country. Traditionally the concert in the magnificent Great Hall is preceded by a reception in the lovely Long Drawing Room where you can enjoy wine, mince pies & other festive fare by the roaring log fire. The Christmas trees & twinkling lights create a truly special atmosphere in this most wonderful historic venue.
The programme comprises beautiful music spanning over 200 years played by Orchestra Pro Anima (OPA) directed by Michael Bochmann MBE
Cheltenham Christmas Market & Ice skating
Featuring local & visiting traders, over 40 market stalls will run along the pedestrianised Promenade. It’s the perfect place to pick up a few handcrafted Christmas gifts & indulge in a huge variety of delicious treats on offer: giant bratwurst from the iconic German Schwenkegrill, an exotic selection of ostrich, wild boar & crocodile burgers, Italian macaroons, liquorice, fudge & the very best in cheeses & chutneys & (of course) mulled wine!
